Immanuel Church exists to make disciples of Jesus by teaching biblical truth, cultivating spiritual growth, and equipping believers to live on mission.
Rooted in Jesus.Growing together.Living on mission.
Young adulthood brings important questions about faith, work, relationships, calling, identity, and the future. You do not have to navigate those questions alone.
Immanuel Young Adults exists to help people discover Jesus, grow in God’s Word, build meaningful relationships, and learn to live out their faith in everyday life. Whether you are exploring Christianity, returning to church, new to Queens, or ready to grow more deeply as a disciple, there is room for you here.

From attending church to following Jesus.
Young Adults is not simply another event to attend or a social calendar to fill. It is part of Immanuel Church’s larger calling to make disciples of Jesus.
We want young adults to understand what they believe, grow in their relationship with Christ, and learn how faith shapes real life. That means opening Scripture, developing a life of prayer and worship, asking honest questions, forming trusted relationships, serving others, and allowing Jesus to shape our choices, priorities, work, relationships, and purpose.
No one arrives as a finished product. Some people have followed Jesus for years, while others are only beginning to explore who He is. We grow by bringing our real questions and real lives to God, learning from His Word, and walking forward together.
Immanuel Church exists to be a vibrant, healing community where disciples grow, connect deeply, and impact the world with Kingdom-driven passion.
A simple rhythm for a lifelong faith.
Know Jesus
Christian discipleship begins with Jesus Himself—not merely information about Him.
Young adults are invited to understand the gospel, place their trust in Christ, grow in their relationship with Him, and learn to follow Him in everyday decisions. Worship and prayer help faith become more than an idea; they draw us into a living relationship with God.

Grow in His Word
God’s Word forms what we believe and how we live.
We want young adults to study Scripture, understand its meaning, apply it faithfully, and develop spiritual habits that continue beyond a single gathering. Growth includes encouragement, accountability, obedience, character, and relationships with mature believers who can offer wisdom and support.

Serve Our Neighbors
Disciples of Jesus are formed not only to receive, but also to serve.
Young adults are invited to discover and use their gifts, participate in the life of Immanuel Church, care for people in Woodside, support local and global mission, share their faith, and help others take steps toward Jesus.

We are not trying to fill a calendar. We are seeking to form disciples whose faith shapes the way they live, love, serve, and lead.
Young adults are not on the sidelines.
Young Adults is not a separate church within Immanuel. It is one part of a larger church family made up of different generations, cultures, backgrounds, and life experiences.
We believe young adults need more than relationships with people their own age. They also need the worship, wisdom, encouragement, responsibility, and relationships that come from belonging to the whole body of Christ.
Young adults are invited not only to attend, but also to participate: worshiping with the congregation, building relationships across generations, serving according to their gifts, caring for their neighbors, and growing into people who strengthen the church and help others follow Jesus.
Our shared life is grounded in The Word of God, Jesus Christ, The Holy Spirit, The Church, Worship, and Prayer.
Bring your questions. Bring your whole life.
Immanuel Young Adults welcomes people navigating the varied seasons of young adulthood, including college, work, career changes, relationships, singleness, marriage, moving to New York City, and important questions about faith and purpose.
You do not need to have a church background, know the Bible, or have every part of your life figured out. You may be exploring Christianity for the first time, returning to church after time away, looking for a church family, or seeking deeper Christian community.
Wherever you are beginning, you are welcome to take a next step with us.
